This 400-year-old coaching inn is located south of Leicester on the old A6, in the village of Great Glen. The privately-run residence has charming guest rooms, a lounge and a bar serving traditional ales and lagers. An à la carte restaurant serves lunch, dinner and an extensive bar menu.
