This fine Grade II listed Georgian townhouse is conveniently situated in the small, historic market town of Amesbury, just off the A303, less than 2 miles (3.2 km) from Stonehenge. Fairlawn House has a convenient location from which to explore all that the region has to offer. Salisbury is only 8 miles (13 km) away and the lovely Roman city of Bath is 40 miles (65 km) from the house. The house still retains many of its attractive original features, including a wonderful curved staircase and a rare internal wind vane. Over the last year, the present owners have restored the house to some of its original glory. The lounge and bar area have been completely refurbished, providing a beautiful, comfortable area for guests to relax in and browse through the library of guidebooks and local tourist information.
