Pennine Way walks from nearby Crowden or Saddleworth Moor. Canal towpaths and reservoir paths for shorter walks.Holmfirth (Summer Wine area) 5 miles. Huddersfield 11 miles. Bretton Sculpture Park 10 miles, Peak District provides good walking country with unspoit towns and villages. Visit Chatsworth House and the spa town of Buxton.
